My fantastic trip of 2022

I haven’t been on a trip for a long time. So this year, at the beginning of June me, my family and my friends went away from Sicily for six days.

On the ferryboat crossing the strait of Messina

The first day we spent in the car to get to Vinci (the city where Leonardo da Vinci lived). We arrived at the hotel at 9.00 pm and at 11.00 pm we went to eat something, without my dad because he was so tired. We ate traditional food, the Schiacciata- it was so good!

The second day we went to Florence.  We explored the city before going to the Uffizi museum. After this, we went for a ride in a carriage. I went with the girl leader of the tour group, but my friend’s husband surprised us and the other leader reached us with another carriage. It was soo funny.

At 3:00 pm we returned to the car to go to Pisa. When we arrived we went immediately to see the Tower of Pisa. I took the traditional photo (where I’m holding the tower) and we laid on the lawn opposite the Tower.

In the evening we ate in a restaurant and when we finished we return to the hotel.

The third day we visited The Leonardiano Museum and after we travelled by car for half an hour to Parma, to visit my aunt, Mary. In the evening we booked a table in a place where we ate very well.

The fourth day we went to Genova, with my aunt, because we wanted to see the sea life of the famous Aquarium of Genova and then we visited the city on a guide bus.

The fifth day we went to Venice, as well as with my aunt. We visited it in a Gondola. From that view the city was so beautiful.

And the last day we returned to Sicily, to my sorrow 🙁

This was a fantastic experience and I hope we will do this another time.

What makes me happy😆

What makes me happy? You’ll think that it’ll be a place or something other. No it’s more different than a place, but for me it’s home. The Marvel films are home for me because they remind me of my childhood that I remember with joy.

My favourite character is Spiderman (Peter Parker), I identify with him because he is clumsy, happy, generous, shy, sometimes sad, funny and a little stubborn like me😅😅. He inspires me and gives good vibes.

There are more than 10 Marvel films so there isn’t a specific plot, but they’re about superheroes.

My favorite film of these is “Spiderman: no way home”, but my favorite part is not in this film but in “Avengers: Endgame” when Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Peter Parker hug each other. THEY ARE SO CUTE IN THIS PART.

The moment when I feel free

In my life I have done many sports like: dance, gymnastics , self-defence and horse riding. If I have to choose between these sports it would be dance and horse riding. In this period I only practice horse riding, but who knows if I will practice dance again.

But there is a moment in my day when I’m alone and I feel free. This is when I get some fresh air and I spend time with my favourite animals, horses. I have a horse whose named is Flicka– her name is from a fantastic trilogy on Disney+ “Flicka”, which means “beautiful girl”. She is white with brown spots and she reminds me of Zietto, Pippi Longstocking’s horse. Sometimes I talk to her when I’m angry or sad, and she listens to me and I feel better. You’ll think I’m crazy, but I become spontaneous and vent my frustrations with animals because I think they listen, one thing that people don’t do.

I think I’m good at horse riding  because I trust Flicka and this is the most important thing in this sport. But I hope that next year I’ll learn to gallop and I can take a horse ride along the beach (THE DREAM OF A LIFETIME🤩)

PS: I’ll never take part in a competition because I’m so scared of that…

Something that inspires me!!!!!!!!!

I chose this quote because I’m insecure about myself when I am with people I don’t know and I hope that in the future I’ll be able to do what the quote says and  always be myself.  If people don’t like me, I don’t care – I’ll find other people who accept me.

But at the moment in my mind I ask myself: Am I good enough for these people? Will they accept me?

Zendaya (who say these words) is a fantastic girl and I have her as a point of reference, because she isn’t interested in the opinion of other people.

I hope I’ll be like her when I’m ready. I think that over the course of time all of the people who are insecure like me, will be ready to stand up to the bad words that envious people say about us.

The 30th anniversary of the Magistrate Giovanni Falcone

The Magistrate Giovanni Falcone was a man who sacrificed his life to fight against the Mafia 30 years ago.

This man and his friend and colleague  Paolo Borsellino  studied to become Magistrates because both wanted to fight against the Mafia, a terrible organization that commits crimes as extortion and illegal trade.

We remember them every year to reflect that they  did not die uselessly.  They give courage to  young people to fight for what they believe in.

I think that, like all of us, I’m afraid of the Mafia. But if there was a person who belongs to the Mafia in front of me, I would tell him or her to stop what they’re doing because it doesn’t make any sense- they’re ruining people, the city and themselves.
